Thumper the Horse needs a home
Looking for a handsome horse with personality plus? Thumper is definitely a character. Originally bred for racing, he learned a bit of dressage and was ridden on the trail many years ago. But when he was young, he was involved in a serious trailer accident and hasn't been quite the same since. Born in 1988, Thumper is basically sound, but can no longer be ridden. Tests have been inconclusive, but his reactions to ordinary situations fall outside the realm of normal horse behavior. Thumper came to the Sanctuary from a home in California when his person developed health problems and could no longer care for him. Thumper can be a real sweetheart with people, but he's particular about his pasture mates and tends to be dominant with them. If you've always dreamed of having a Thoroughbred friend, and you're willing to work with a challenging, but lovable horse, Thumper would be very grateful for a home and person of his own!
